We are pleased to announce the launch of our 2024-29 strategy: A Vision of Excellence for Post-16 English and Maths.
During the lifetime of our previous strategy, we are proud to have dramatically scaled our reach—working with nearly 5,000 students across more than 90 campuses in all nine regions of England. Get Further is now forming a key part of the further education landscape. But we don’t just want to be a part of the landscape – we want to lead the way in raising standards in post-16 English and maths education.
Building on the success of our last strategy, our new strategy is driven by a bold vision for a future where every student is supported to achieve the gateway qualifications they need to progress and thrive in education, work, and life. It outlines our ambitious plans to:
- To drive up the quality of our programmes, achieving pass rates significantly and consistently above the national average.
- Strengthen our evaluation processes so that we robustly establish our impact and enhance our work further.
- Harness our impact to have a positive influence on the wider sector, advocating for changes to policy and practice that would more effectively benefit the students we support.
