What You’ll Experience….
This structured interview explores how you’ve approached challenges in the past and what that says about your future potential. But don’t worry once you’ve secured your space at the assessment centre your recruiter will provide valuable tips to support you!
This is where your adaptability and communication come into play. You’ll step into scenarios that mirror situations you might face in the role.
We’re not looking for perfection. We’re looking for:

Onboarding
If you are offered a place in our tutor pool, there are a few steps you need to complete to be onboarded. Click through the steps to find out what’s required:
1 - Accept your offer
Sign our offer letter which will be emailed to you from our tutor applications mailbox (tutor@getfurther.org.uk).
2 - Upload your documentation
Login and create a profile with our provider, Sterling, to carry out your checks.
What you need:
- Address details for your DBS
- References (referees have a max of ten days to complete these, so make sure you have contacted them to expect a request for you).
- Right to work – We do not offer sponsorship and you must obtain your RTW yourself for the duration of your designated programme. You need to upload a photo of your original documents at this stage – we will not accept copies.
3 - Submit your qualifications
Original Certificates and Official transcripts required.
4 - Confirm your availability
Confirm your personal details, location, and transport preferences so that we can match you to an appropriate placement.
5 - Book your training
Sign on to two days of bespoke Tutor Training, delivered by subject specialists to help you make the most of our resources and develop the skills you need to be an outstanding tutor. Cnce complete you’ll enter the tutor pool to be match with a tutoring placement.
