Yes, we are fully compliant with the 16-19 tuition fund 

We offer programmes that start in September, November and January.  

We have designed our programme to be flexible around our Colleges’ needs, we want to make sure the programme best supports you and your students. So please get in touch and we can see what we can do.  

All of our programmes run for 1-hour per week until May half term. 

Yes, we recruit high quality tutors, provide them with a programme of training and equip them will all of the resources they will need to start tutoring.

We provide tutors and students with specialist booklets to use in every session. Each lesson has been designed by expert maths and English teachers and uses evidence-based approaches. Tutor booklets contain fully worked solutions and recommended methods to support tutors in their delivery of the materials.  

All Get Further tutors will have at least an A-level in a subject relevant to the subject they will be tutoring and they will either hold or be working towards a 2:1 or higher degree as a minimum.

All Get Further tutors undertake two days of training before they begin tutoring. Our training programme includes engaging and motivating young people, the principles of effective pedagogy, delivering tuition with impact and safeguarding training.   

Tutors are provided with a range of professional development opportunities and refresher modules throughout the year.  

Yes, all of our tutors are required to have a valid DBS certificate before they begin tutoring.   

Each partner college is assigned a dedicated Programme Coordinator from the Get Further team. Your Programme Coordinator will manage student enrolment, attendance and engagement with the programme 

Get Further sessions do not take place during the holidays.
